...for Ubuntu beginners... tip-sharing, social, install lab, whatever. Part of our Linux Guru Incubator series, the place to go to get to know Ubuntu Linux better.

If you're new to Ubuntu, Linux, or are just contemplating switching to it as your Desktop operating system, come hang out with us. We'll be discussing all the pros & cons, and sharing the coolest tips & tricks, troubleshooting issues, and even doing install labs. One thing's for sure: If you're new to Ubuntu, you WILL learn some useful stuff here. Soon, YOU'll be considered the resident guru. And if you're already an old hack at Linux, please come and share your joy and love of Linux with a whole new generation of average people who are just getting started with it on their desktop. Evangelize! :-)

I am looking forward to this meeting. I am glad that there will be other newbies other than myself attending!

I've got a LONG way to go before I can be called GURU.
