Hello group:
I am a new member of this group and I want to put this out on the message board because I need some help. I recently purchased and Archos 9 Tablet PC, it initially ran on Windows7. I tried to see if I could get the Ubuntu netbook remix installed on the Archos, which I did. The problem is I can't get the touchscreen to work. I have tried several guides which I downloaded offline, I am very much a newbie with linux and cannot get the touchscreen drivers installed using the command line prompt. I am looking for a tutor to walk me through it and I am open to paying a consultation fee. I am not looking for someone to install the touchscreen drivers for me, but to show me how to install it. Thanks David |

Why not point people to what you are doing so that we can give you some ideas of where to go next.
First issue: find out which drivers are needed. Are they already compiled for your machine and distribution or not? My first quick check on it showed that others had problems. Is there a wiki on this problem? |
